New
Boat Boys
Ownership
Tim and Wendy
Figgins purchased
Boat Boys
on
December
5, 2008 from David and Mary Calhoun. The Calhouns had been in the boat business
for over 30 years and built
Boat Boys
into a nationally known boat
sales and service facility. Tim and Wendy worked with the Calhouns initially as
customers and Tim began consultation with
Boat Boys
in May
of 2008. He then became the General Manager as discussions evolved toward
purchase of the business. Dave and Mary are planning a move to
Syracuse, New
York to be closer to their grandkids. They enjoy a good working relationship
with Tim and Wendy, which allows them to be available for consultation.
Tim brings 7
years of experience as a Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive of small
business , is also an avid boater and is eager to work with customers to help
them purchase the best boat to meet their needs and desires. Wendy is also a
former small business owner, college basketball and softball coach. She
enjoys meeting new people and making sure customers experience the best service
possible.
